iv'e just noticed there is a bad seal on one of pipes going into the silencer and it's spitting a black mess around the top of the shock.
i need to get the seat off to clean it up but cant seem to get access to the centre bolt that connects it to the tank so i'm guessing the tank/seat comes off in one piece (stop me if i'm wrong!).
can the 2 fuel pipes near the base of the tank be unclipped without dropping fuel everywhere or do i need to drain the tank somehow :puzzled:

Once you have removed all the seat bolts, lift the seat and tank unit as one, use a block of wood to support the tank (carefull of the pump) you should then be able to access the tank\seat bolt to remove the seat unit totaly.

just checked it out and it looks like the tank extends right under the seat covering where i need to get to so it's going to have to come off anyway. can i disconnect the pipes on the pump without risk of spillage?
