Rob, cheers for the reply, although I am a little surprised with your answer. Anyway, if you are right, and I’ve no reason to doubt you, it’s no surprise that it hasn’t been spotted.

Rob I'm assuming that all 888s were produced before the V plate was issued and as you cannot assign a registration 'newer' than the bike a 888 owner couldn't use it anyway?

Well, I'm not too sharp on vintage motorcycles and other such old technology such as the 888 but I thought I was right :P;):P;)
