Time for a new chain - Tsubaki but what spec?

I see there are a who range of specs for the Tsubaki chain. I was going to use a 520 Sigma X. Is this the best spec for road work?

P.S. Anyone know what the standard number of links should be. I'll have to add a few for my large rear sprocket.

Yeah, sometimes you just wake up ready for it. Did that last year, mid June meeting. New slicks on the car, head in the happy place.

Right on the pace from the get go, new class record, first 1100cc bike engined car to do a sub 28 sec rec at the venue.

The weird thing was, I could just see it was going to happen that way.

Sport's such a head thing. If you're not "in the zone/bubble/whatever todays word is", no matter what kit you've got, you're not going to do it. Look at Sete, head gone, might as well throw the Honda in the bin.

Check the weight of the chain, I got a Sigma chain and it is much chunkier than the ZVM.
Personally I would go for the DID x-ring.

Rob, Rich Lewellyn at Luigi Moto recommended with earnest conviction the Afam x ring. I tried to talk him DID but he was having none of it, he reckons he has raced with Afam on all his bikes and customers bikes and it's top drawer, and they last ages. So I bought one, and it does look good.

Mine broke as you know. now I am being told by frank thomas group that it was not the recommended chain, but it right according to EK listing.:flame:

I run the Afam chains from louigi. With my daily commuting, and less than perfect chain care regime :bouncy: , the last one last 17000 miles, more than I've ever had a chain last before.

Better than DID, and way, way, better than EK, in my experience.
