A racers week.....

Tue - Track eve at Donny as not been before, dry, 2 sessions, burn out clutch.

Thu - Replace clutch and pack van.

Fri - Arrive at Donny, set up. Enjoy Team F3's BBQ - Thanks master chef's Kelly and Fordie.

Sat - Qualify - 3 dry laps, ****es down.

Race 1 - Bike misses from the start, makes one lap on 1/2 cylinder!

Replace plugs and ends - Thanks Rich from Louigi Moto!

Race 2 - WET! I have crashed twice before, both on wet tracks, no confidence, no idea how everyone else is going so well.

End of lap 4 at end of Dunlop straight, too hard on the front brake, straight down at start of braking point, accelerated on my ass aiming for the Glynn's rear tyre, thinking NOOOOO! don't hit him, trying to move the bike's trajectory away from it's target. Just as he tips in, clip his rear tyre and took him out. Continue slide through the cones into the run off area and stop. Crash number 3! There's a pattern forming.

HUGE apologies to Glynn, thanks for taking it so well, a 'racing incident', or a school boy error!

Bike's cosmetic only and no grass or gravel to remove.

MCN photographer got some nice slide pic's will post the as soon as I receive them.

So after all that effort.....no result!

Casting my vote for a Donny round next year please!

I am sooooo looking forward to Cadwell.

Had to break it gently to my race partner that I'd binned our bike, he took it well, but he is on hols in Italy!

Thanks again DSC all for hospitality and help.

Chris

BUGGA!

Bad luck Chris, I'm gutted for you! I hope you didn't hurt yourself! It puts things into perspective ... It certainly sounds like you don't get on with the wet.

I hope the crash damage isn't too much and you'll be ok for Brands?

Seriously bad luck Chris.... :(

It can be overwhelming sometimes keeping on top of the track days, repairs, organising etc, but stick at it as I know there's a good result in there. You were definitely movin' at TA4.:ninja:

If you need anything for the ss give me a shout.

Cheers,

Ali

Glyn welcome back to racing, its nice to see not a lot has changed as I am use to seeing you at the side of the track before the race ends. :frog:

Seriously though glad to see you are both only walking wounded with Glyn suffering the worse, both bikes didn't seem to suffer to badly and both bikes and riders should be fit for a rematch in the near future.

Roll on Brands

Chris is it you or James on the bike at Brands
