Hi All,

Just received a new set of Scorpion low level exhausts for my 1992 750 ss.

Bad news the connector pipes are no way made to fit.

Has anyone fitted these and could they confirm if they fit ok, and the product code you had for your connectors. I have sent an email to the disctributors and await their response.

Cheers

Chris

Very helpful people (Brian) at Scorpion took the link pipes back and checked them on the jig. Within 2 days I had a new set on my door step which fitted perfectly.

Good on them for excellent help and customer service.

Look sweet!

Well done - good result - I'd seen these and others on Ebay and wondered what the quality was like.

Comments / Pics please?

Hi,

The only problems I had later were with the nylock nuts supplied to fit the bolts. The exhausts can move around quite a lot whilst tightening up the straps, and I managed to cross thread both of them.

A quick trip to B&Q for replacement bolts and standard nuts and they went on a treat.

Also had to losen up the full system to get the exhausts to line up nicely. Mind you I had already taken it of for cleaning and painting, so I probably had it on at an angle from the rear down pipe.

Sound excellent with the baffles in, and awsome with them out.

She's not normally this clean. I'm just in the midle of a strip down and rebuild. And having lots of fun too :)

The exhausts arn't the cheapest at just over 400 dabs, but I'm very impressed by the quality/sound etc.

They actually bolt onto the foot rests as with the standard cans and don't foul in any way.

Would be nice to have brackets on the cans rather than a strap, but I imagine this would push the price up.

Unidentified set of cans on ebay at the mo, but I would imagine a bit too loud to get away with.
