Eleven of us travelled to Brno on Thursday evening to see the race, what a trip:D

Taxi from Brno hotel to the circuit £ 18.00 between 4 in and out on all three days was easy (we won't do Donington again)

Circuit completely awesome we counted five big screens working on all three days (thoughts of Doningtons race day if you are lucky)

Geared up to serve everything quickly, beer at the circuit was............................................... ....................................

£ 1.15

Grand stand seat right on the start (see the picture) was £ 55.00 for all three days

We are already planning next years visit:lol:

The lack of investment in facilities for spectators , allied to the absolute rip-off prices have kept me away from Donnington for the last Five years.

We have done Monza Imola Missano Brno and Assen and all make you feel welcome.

Over here it seems that they are doing you a favour despite all of the money such an event brings to the locality:mad:

What were your other costs. ie Hotel, flights etc. (Which airport?) Sounds like you had an excellent time.

I am in the process of arranging Le Mans 2006 but a trip to Brno could happen as well.

Flight approx £ 79.00 each Stansted - Brno Ryanair
Hotel four nights approx £ 240.00 for a double
Race tickets (the most expensive) £ 55.00 each
Spending money for two inc taxis food beer t shirts etc £ 200.00

Of course it would be cheapr if you took the bus, they must have had 50 - 60 busses waiting outside to take people back to town.
