Hello

I am trying to fit a Ducati (Datatool Evo plus) alarm to my 600ss. I think that is the alarm fitted by Ducati.

Does anyone have any instalation infortmation. I have identified how it plugs into the bike loom, but wonder about the various flying leads. I assume one plugs into each front indicator. What do the others plug into?

Any snipperts of info welcome!

Thanks

Douglas

...and to each rear indicator! Also, one goes to the little flashing red warning light fitted 'tween the clocks.

(Mine's just thrown a 'wobbly' so I'll be delving deeper into its workings at the weekend).

This is from my Veto Evo destructions from my ST2....

Left hand indicator & one alarm earth ( two wires 2.8mm spade terminals,1 purple tagged ) to the left hand indicator on the bike - the purple tagged one to the white/black wire on the bike, the alarm black wire to black on the bike.

Right hand indicator ( 2.8mm spade terminal, 1 purple tagged on its own ) to the right hand indicator on the bike - the purple tagged one to the white/green wire on the bike.

2 green tagged wires - programming / accessory loop
1 yellow/green tagged wire - accessory siren / pager.

If you need a copy of the instructions... drop me a line.

HTH

Cheers

Andy

Alarm LED - identified by bullet connectors - connect to the led as appropriate.

Power wire - 6mm ring terminal - to positive terminal on battery.

None go to the rear indicators on the ST - it doesn't matter anyway whether you hook in to the front or rear as the front & rear indicators are already connected in the bike wiring loom!

Thanks for the help. Unfortunately I wasnt able to work it out with sufficient confidence to wire it up to the bike.

However I have just got a copy of the alarm fitting instructions from Datatool. So if they are successful, I will report back!

Hullo. I have now successfully fitted the alarm, and it works fine. It was fairly straightforward. So if anyone needs a acopy of the instructions, please feel free to get in touch.
