My beloved 2005 S4R has been recalled!:yawn::barfy:
Letter just received says "rear shock absorber rocker arm" needs inspecting/replacing
Anyone else know anything or had a similar letter??
Im awaiting a call back from Ducati to clarify, but I do remember that the S4R was recalled in its earlier days for something to do with rear suspension mount? Is this the same one?

Mine was recalled before I picked it up :lol: was towards the end of April I think was delayed for about a week. for the rocker to be replaced.
Then about 2 weeks later it was to be replaced again as wrong part was used first :lol:. The first was taken of a S2r that was supposed to be unaffected but i guess it was, I was shown it stripped down so I cold have my bike quicker :D:D

Chris Im sure it was only for 05' S4r's to but worth a check I guess:D:D

I've not heard anything on my '54 S4R
RJC - just replied to your question about servicing cost for your S4r on UKMOC board.

Do NOT pay what you have been quoted mate!!!:o
I just cant believe some dealers!!:flame::flame:
£690 inc parts and VAT!!! :flame:
30ish miles away, a very reputable dealer is quoting £350 for the same service, and £100 more if it was the belt service!!
