I have just bought a laptop.Nothing flashy,Toshiba sattelite 1100 with celeron 1300 processor.What i'd like to know is:

1.Whats teh best program to use for watching DVD's(power dvd?ETC.)

2.I need a 19v dc supply to run it off the car,is there anything i should look for/avoid.I would rather have quality than cheap blow your pc to bits stuff.E-bay has these:

If you use Windows Update (http://www.windowsupdate.com/), the latest version of Media Player (v10) will let you watch DVDs - best of all it's free!

That psu looks fine - I guess it's only for emergency charging rather than plugging it in when you get home and leave it overnight kind of thing?

On my main pc,i've found media player the worst of all dvd players,so was trying to avoid it.Don't worry about the cost of the program!;)

Look for Media player classic and it comes with K-Lite codec pack. Should play any media format and it's very small and uses the media player 6.4 interface...
We run this and powerDVD XP.:D
