Just got back from my first track day on a Ducati.
What a fantastic day we had we did have 5 crashers today but apart from one with a suspected broken hand, all were ok.
Never done llandow before either, we got there and took one look at the track and thought oh my god! It only has 2 left handers and only around 1 mile long.
But what a great laugh.
I am running a diablo corsa front and a standard rear, the front never moved all day but the rear was letting go and spinning up and I am told leaving nice dark lines
So I will be fitting a corsa rear next tme I did kind of get around the problem by lowering the rear tyre pressure and softening rear compresion damping, and then I finaly got my times down to 46 sec laps
Stoll on the next one

There were only 14 in novice. 17 in inters and about 10 in fast group but it did mean you did not get held up much:cool:

I can't see any of the pictures. I just get a thing saying "Southwest Bikers this picture does not exist". :(

Phawww. Thanks for that. Nice Termis. I've got that sticker under by 996 sign in virtually the same position on my road trim. Are you hooked? You should get track trim if you are. Be a shame to mess up those lovely shiny panels.

YES it did mate ! It nver fitted right from new so switched to my whizz leather sliders after that.
Yes i was enjoying it, I was getting bored of owning the Ducati but all that changed after a few laps. I will now be looking around for a 998 next year :cool:
