i now this dowsn't help you, but 998 plastics fit a 996 bip as i nearly bought a complete fairing and the guy even bought it round to show me it fitted looked snazyy but it was red and he wanted too much for it.
Hmm,tough one to answer. The 998 fairings do not have the air ducts in the sides like the 996.I believe that the 998 fairing is also slightly wider to accomodate the bigger airbox. The front Vee piece is differant because the 998 does not have the cutout for the front cylinder head.
Probably not then!
no is the short answer
998 fits the 996etc, but 996 as you are aware have a large air duct at the top of the panel, the scoup will foul the fittment on the coils of the testrastretta engined bikes ie 998models and 996r, you could make them fit buy cutting away the air scoup an leaving a small ridge on the inside of the fairing panel, but this allows you to veiw the coils through the resulting hole, not so bad if you just want them for track days. however ive seen some which have been modified that look ok, but its down to yoour preferance at the end of the day.
