Been building an SP2 from a pretty sick example. Its all complete now and I've done a few Practice days to get it dialled in, Pembrey, Cadwell etc. It rides real nice so thought I'd share the pics.

Took me about 6 months all in what with getting the frame and wheels coated and sourcing the missing parts. fitting new bearings suspension rebuild and adding titanium everywhere.
I was surprised how little room there is to work on a Ducati if you put things on in the wrong order it all has to come off to fit the last piece.
Good fun on the track though keeping up with more modern stuff on open practice days those racetecs really do grip..

Just curious.

Well, I'd like one myself but I never see any, they seem much rarer than the SP4 which is rare enough itself.

Great to see a lovely bike back in it's full glory - well done. Not that you've asked for my opinion, or that it's worth anything, but I would have preferred it to be less an SP3 lookalike, but it's still gorgeous.

Looks superb, excellent job

Did you buy damaged repairable up in Scotland as I looked at an SP2 in similar condition up here about a year ago but decided against it due to my patience limitations....

Good to see it complete!!!!

Yes it came from East Coast Superbikes in Scotland so it's probably the same one. It seemed such a shame to let all that original quality go to waste or get broken up. I'm really pleased with how it's turned out.
