Is this a good price anyone?

Also the fairing looks different - did they change the fairing at some point in the MYs?

Fairing looks pretty standard to me.

its the original 916/748 fairing design, those "old school" logos make it look odd in my opinion ...

personally I think there would be better (read later) 748's out ther for c£4000, TP just sold his 996 which was a 2000 I believe with 12k miles on it for about that money ...

I'd keep looking ...
