have seen condensation in my 749s's tacho today, the bike is 3 months old, I have only washed it with sponge and hose pipe. spoke to the dealer and they said to keep an eye on it and if it becomes a major problem they will replace on warranty.
What is the word on the street

Had two 999's and never seen condensation in the tacho.
Is your bike garaged, or could it have been the cold night that caused it?
Mines gets it but its no big deal, it dries up fast.

:smug:while it is still in warrenty , get it changed. If you had bought second hand it is a different matter but as it is new and you have paid a lot of money for it get it changed or every time you look at it it will bug you.:burn:

spoke to the dealer and they are replacing under warranty, it happens when i have been out in the wet and the steam is coming off the radiator condensing on the screen.

my numptystrada is on its third set of clocks due to condensation, - the risk attached to it being damp in there is that everything is controlled from the unit, - it is a programmed header unit to the electronics, not sure if that is the case on the 749,- have a word with the dealer.

i was told that they have had to replace one or two 749's but they have never had to do two on the same bike
