Coring part deux

OK well my long term project is to properly core my pipes, put carbon sleeves on them, and give them a bling polish (if it's possible to bring up the standard pipes to a high shine finish).

My main question is how large can/should you go on the baffle pipe?

Is 50mm plenty?
