As the title says really! Picked her up on Saturday fully repaired, Termis fitted and a little bit of a paint job. Splashed a few carbon bits on her too, plus an open clutch. Jobs a good 'un!
Trouble is, she was stalling when slowing down all the way home :( The cooler weather seems to really affect her (it did last year) so a full setup is required. She was fine 2 weeks ago though. Call to the dealers tomorrow me thinks.
Hopefully a pic is attached...

It got held up a bit because of problems with my paint job (about 4 weeks), so it took 6 months to get sorted in the end...

I'd have a word with the dealer when you take it back.....looks like it's turned a funny colour since they've had it all that time:lol::lol:
The bike looks great.
The black wheels really set it off.You must be well chuffed.

Yep, it really has been six months :o
The rearsets are Migliore.
I won some carbon belt covers on eBay from the same guy I got the air tube covers off. They got lost in the post though, supposedly, and I ended up getting a refund. They're the only thing I would buy now - other than that it's perfect!
The Termi makes the engine spin up much easier. The bike feels more alive, throttle response is quicker and the bike just seems to be reathing so much easier.
That's BEAUTIFUL. I actually really like the yellow, even if it is slower. We can't get yellow 'S's here in the states, nor can we get s bi-posto. Straight up red mono's...not that I'm complaining.

oh yea, saw a black 749s at the local dealer the other day. It was an '06. Didn't know they were gonna do that.
i must admit with black wheels it looks tasty. yella' stickers are a nice touch even if they do slow the wheel down:burn:

No I haven't got yellow leathers! I'm slow enough already!
Nice one TF. Looks really good and hopefully the weather'll hold off long enough for you to enjoy it in the dry.
Looks great TF. Like your rear hugger, very neat. Also whats the story with the wheels, Were they replaced as black or were the painted up black. They look really smart

They were painted up black at my request, plus I have a Corse stripe on the front mudguard complete with black/yellow Ducati Corse decal (see pic)
I thought they were going to paint it for you TF?
Wait for it ....... They've only put the undercoat on - badum tish!
Yes, I'm bored.

Nowt wrong with yella - looks MUCH better on the 749/999 IMHO :D
there is a reaon all the red ones are called clitoris, yellow is the better colour.
NICE BIKE, mine used to look like that before I dropped it :(
I need to get my frame painted amoungst other things, have you seen a yellow bike with a BLACK frame ? Im thinking about getting it done. Anyone have pics ?

I was going to have a black frame, but it wasn't worth all the questions at resale time. It's pretty obvious the bike has been down the road then isn't it?
