Does anyone know if a 1997 ST2 regulator will be ok on my 1998 748?:puzzled:

Iknow that the '97 ST2 is a 2 phase genny & reg... not sure if the '98 748 is 2 or 3 phase.
Easy check... have the regs got the same number of yellow wires - these are the feeds from each phase.
If so, it should be ok....

2 phase (2 yellow wires) on my 748, if thats how it works. Only had it a month or so, so this is all still new to me. Thanks for that I will put a bid in on the one on ebay.
