View Full Version : Something really good is about to happen here, and it's long overdue!
OK peeps, with all the increasing interest in 8xx series Dukes etc, I thing it is about time we had a single gallery of pics of said bikes .
I know there are many pics on the board, but they are spread about abit, and it would be much better if they could be in one location so to speak.
( web team, any chance of our own gallery forum )
Any model is exceptable , but must be 8xx series.
road, race etc.
I really enjoy seeing these glorious bikes, in all there various forms.
It can also be difficult for some peeps to ever see some members bikes due to distance etc involved, so this way everyone can browse through member pride and joys, race bikes and just good old work horses.
They all share a place here.
so upload away peeps, your own bikes, mates bikes, bikes from other links.
I think this will be a great benefit to all 8xx owners and other peeps who may want to move into this area of duke ownership etc.
:):):):):)
I'm not being biased towards 8xx bikes here, but they have played such an important role in ducati's history, that I think they should be celebrated .:):):):)
Good idea Red ,So heres mine . 1989 851 Monoposto with an 888 engine , Bit scruffy under the fairing but going to get plenty of tlc over this winter ;)
If a gallery isnt possible could the forum mod pin this thread so it stays at the top ?

I've a couple of T8's. Here's the Strada. It's just as it left the factory, but for airbox & chip.

...and here's the SP4. It's bog-standard too, but for AP Racing M/C and hoses. It's a little more 'peaky' to ride, but it's much easier to throw around.
Nice bikes guys.
Interesting that there is a bit of banter/****ging off between 748/9** owners and 749/999 devil worshippers, but everyone leaves your old heaps alone:devil::frog: Only joking, honest, i really like the them.
Lets see more of them please.;)

and yet 10 years ago the 851/888 v 916 debates were very similar to the 916 v 999 debates of now.
of course, what you really want is a '78 bevel 900SS ;)

Ladies and Gentlemen.....
I would dearly love to post photos of the 888: However!
Can somebody please tell me in VERY simple and easy to follow steps how to upload pictures into a reply? I would be most grateful as i don't think the Dyson can cope with sweeping up the masses of hair I am in the process of tearing out..:flame:
Thank you all in advance!
Gary.

If you click the reply button at the bottom of the last post ("not the post reply box")
You'll get a response box that has an attachment section at the bottom - simply search for your file from the browse box.
