Are you seated, becaseu you're not going to believe this! I didn't.

I started a new contract yesterday - it lasted 6.5 hours before my contract was terminated. Is that some sort of record?

The extra work that was coming in for the team I was joining didn't materialise apparently so they couldn't afford the additional headcount. Or something like that. ....

Anyway, my contract fortunately has a notice clause that means they have to pay me for a month so at least I have that.

Get your drinks in because I am beyond caring about anything at the moment ... I've moved beyond flabbergasted into a bemused state.

I might have a pint ...

Bloody Hell Tony,

First your ankle then this.............

Remind me NEVER to let you pick my lottery numbers.:saint:

Keep the chin up mate, it could be worse, you could have lost the cricket as well:frog:

Get your back side into gear and try and secure another position that way getting double coin for a month, try and turn it into a positive!

I know our place are looking for staff, how does Aberdeen sound? Would the missus be happy living in the windy city?? You could at least come up on your own for a few weeks and see what you think of it. Most of the oil companies offer very good relocation packages.

Drop me an email with your CV and i will put a word in for you.

Regards

ScottyB

A months pay for 6.5 hours work, you're onto something there, you just need to be able to do it every day!!

Good luck,
