Lap timer question

I have a lap timer I wanted to try out at the weekend. It is the type with a separate beacon. Anyone know if the lap timer will work off cadwell's beacon so I don't have to use my separate beacon?

Yes it will work, but the beacon maybe turned off on the Friday as its a trackday. But if it isn't and you use your beacon you may have an impressive time. :D

Lol. Does it matter where I fix the sensor for the lap timer? Left or right hand side etc?

Same side as the track pit wall. For Cadwell that's on the right hand side

Friday is a ACU test day so the beacon should be on
