I have just checked the pressures in my tyres and the front was 26 and the rear 30.
Maybe this was why my service was cheap a couple of weeks ago, they cannot have checked my pressures !!!

Anyway what are people running in the standard Diablo corsas for road use only, I though about 32front/34 rear ?

I haven't got an R, but my 749 is running 34F and 36R with Diablo Corsa's.

On my 748S, Diablo Corsas I run 31F/34R.

The 749 user manual suggests 2.1 bar front, 2.2 bar rear which equates to 30.5 psi front and 32.5 psi rear.

That is for a 2003 749S, don't know if tyre profiles/sizes are different on the R.

I'm running 32.5F 35.5R, which I think is 2.2 bar and 2.4 bar.

I'm running the pressures recommended by Michelin, not Ducati.

Just checked and Pirelli also recommend 2.2 bar and 2.4 bar.

Interesting - I've read discussions on tyre pressures before and depending on who you speak to either say go with tyre manufacturer or bike manufacturer recommendations.

Yeah, it's a bit of a lottery isn't it?

Personally, I reckon the tyre companies are going to know what's best so I go with them.

33F/30 R suits the baby r just fine on diablo corsa's.
Trouble is diablo corsa' s no longer cope with 140 bhp,(black lines EVERYWHERE at brands ) and after running the 890 on 209 gpa's they ARE the future!

if you run a higher pressure it takes longer to get them warm and they dont get as warm either.

P x V = constant

if my physics serves me well

I'm kind of with Butch on this, 33/30 or 32/30... but 209's are the future, went from a set of 208's after day one at sunny Jerez (ok they were mullered) to a brand new set of 209's and went a good second or two quicker in one session alone.
