Anyone know where I could get hold of one of the Jap market 400 Monsters?

or Saudi - lots went there for the police to use in the early/mid 90's, tho last time I checked - many were rotting away in a compound

but there is a new m400ie out in Italy shortly (could even be out now!)

Got my hopes up then. But I want a new style single side swing arm one. With the twin high level pipes like the S2r

Ask Ducati Uk to order you one! Tis possible.
Drop Tim a U2U - he is one here at least once a week.

But, I do wonder why not the 620:puzzled:

If it's for the power restriction Mike (?) you really are far better off getting the 620 with a kit fitted which can be removed in due course and will then make an admirable "first" bike sir :biaggi:

...and you have something to 'unleash' when the licence is de-restricted (or boredom sets in...whos to know???)

Ok I'ii come clean. I have a plan. The bike would be for me but when the kids ask to borrow it it would be legal which is always a plus. I want the bike for work which is fine i have a round trip of about 75miles and I usualy do it on a DR200 :o If I go on the 748 it takes the same amount of time so no gain. I would however like to be 100% Ducati:D. The reason for the New Jap bike is to rob the single sided swing arm off it for the DD bike. I could put a 748 one on but then I'm stuffed on wheel size. But not with the little Monster wheels. I also get a shorter wheel base which will help me go round the corners a bit quicker . Yes I could go for a 620 Monster swing arm but i don't want:frog:
