Wets tyre sizes ?

can anyone tell me the corerrect size and profile as I wish to fit some trackday wets. Should they be thae same as other road tyres or should they be of a lower profile.

a bit more help appreaciated though,
the whole story is; I have been offered a pair of Dunlops, front KR844 120/60/R17
& Rear 180/50/ZR17,they have been fitted as a pair to a race bike(prob not Duke).
they look like they have only done a few laps and im keen to use them if they are not going to cock up the handling coz of the sizes.

any info appreaceated
