I note that Vimori are selling off a few of their old fairings on ebay but was wondering about the build quality against Barry's fairings that a few on the board have bought.
Thanks for the advice in advance

I've had both (996/998) both are great to be honest, I can really pick between them, Vimori did change hands about 18 months ago, and my kit was before the change (996) so might not be a direct comparison. Barry's kit is pretty damn good to be honest, as it's taken from a RS kit with a few mods to fit the road bikes.

Im watching this with interest..what are the costs coming out liek Simon..? We'll have to keep in touch and compare notes as we get the old girls ready for there first season..!!

i have had both as well and personally think Barry's kits are a bit better although there is not much in it.
where he does excel is the fact that the kit comes pre drilled with fasteners and seat mounting bracket. Not a huge issue I know, but it does make like a bit easier and he is always really helpful. He got me a set of kit made and ready in under a week

Nat look at Lil's bike in her avatar, or even in the 100% Jerez thread, he's based about 10 miles from us (near Oulton) plenty of DSC peeps have his kits now, I even convinced him to come along to Track attack 1 at a wet Mallory.
He'll be at the NW DSC Track day at Oulton next year when I get it organised

Thanks guys..ill give him a shout...flexibility on number board painting is good as im doing a '97 WSB replica and the numberboards are a little unusual in shape..!

What price are these ging for on ebay?
Barry's fairings were always better because the quality was as good, but they were cheaper.
If the Vimori ones are now cheaper - I'd go for the Vimori jobbies.
But just ensure that they have the sidestand cutouts, DZUs etc, etc.... these are additionally costed items on Vimoris (you may not get the option on the ebay ones?)
Tim
HAve you got a link for Barry's please?
Barry doesn't have a website, you need to ring and speak to him.

"Yeah I wonder where he got that idea from"
I heard of one company where you had to make your own because all they only supplied the fairing
