Along the lines of the "bike prep over winter" thread, I thought this topic might be of use as well for peeps either wanting to 'get together' for events or for the MT.....
What are your personal biking hopes for 2006?
The only ones I managed in 05 were:
More Track days
Track school
Riding at Donnington at last !!!
But I had to sacrifice riding my Ducati at all :(:(:(
Realistic targets for me would be:
Getting my Duke back on the road.
Doing another DSC Trackday,
and finally doing a road ride with the DSC as well!!!
Wishlist would be:
Going to the I.O.M. before it changes forever.
Foreign Trackday
European WSB / MotoGP
Fingers crossed - here's looking forward to it !!!
Frank
'To do' list:
a complete trackday... :o
cobble a shed onto the back of the garge for more storage
get a new helmet
decorate hall/stairs etc & re-carpet
Wish List:
go to World Ducati week (not looking likely at all now:( )
Update the race van
Like Iconic - go to the IOM
Move house, for a bigger garage;)
Get a huge marquee for race meetings, so all our mates can join us - but employ a team to put it up & down for us too
Go on holiday somewhere warm

Wishlist for 2006:
MotoGiro
World Ducati Week
Moto GP at Philip Island
Build the life size 851SP3 kit I bought.
Mike
Give the 888 a complete checkover, and a few cheap mods over the winter - suspension settings, ride heights, brake master cylinder and get my shed sorted out so that it can be cossetted all winter.
Give the ST a pre-winter fettling then ride it over the winter. Give the ST a complete makeover once the weathers good enough for the 888 to come out to play again.
Ride smoother, faster and SAFER !!!
Hopefully riding in the grease, slime and 'haven't got a hope of warming the tyres" weather will help on the riding front.

Actually getting to ride the thing over summer would be nice...
Lots of sunshine.
Do more miles.
CSS Level 3
A few móre track days...TA6 (i think)
JPM's unofficial DSC Oulton trackday.
After not having done any track days for the 2 years before hand, i really enjoyed the 2 i did this year.
Have as much fun as this year:D
Get to the Sahara again.
Ride upto Sunderland keeping off the main roads and watch them win the last home game of the season, thereby avoiding relegation, then ride all the way back with a big smile on my face, over great roads, on a lovely hot summers evening getting back in time for a BBQ and a cold beer.
Don't wish for much then really.;)

2. Get a 2nd bike - ZX6R (636) in Green.
3. JPMs unofficial Oulton day.
4. Ride a DD round (highly unlikely though)

Not too bothered about the kart milarkey, but if the others fancy it - sweet!!! Now as for SPA - that's some of me that is!!!! ;)
I do fancy a decent ride there and back too, Chris reckoned that some of the roads in the area of the 'ring are superb. I don't want to race there, just take it steady like.
The route back should be via France Red-Leader reckons, so that sounds good to me too.
So - how many days, how much cash, when can we go!!!! ;):roll::roll::roll:

re the possible Ring trip, i remember a lot of hot air about a trip in 2003 i think, Mav put a fair bit of effort into trying to sort it but it all came to nowt.
Please note this criticism is also aimed at myself as i didn't commit either, but lets not spout a load of hot air again please.
Tim, this is not aimed at you, i think its a great idea, and i'd love to do it as well.
Lets try and get a definate group together.
