View Full Version : Andy R ??
Does anyone know how Andy R is following his prang at Cadwell?
Odd that a bust shoulder was the injury of choice for the series - Dave Reilly, Ali and Andy :o
Apologies if I have missed a previous thread.
Cheers,
Paul
I wrote him an email shortly after, but nothing back yet. I have a feeling he only accesses the board from work. Either that or his missus has banned him from anything bike related for life!
That's why I got married before the start of the season!
And the fact that I crashed right in front of Kirsty on the first lap of my first ever race last year - so she knew what to expect of my ability
Thanks for letting us know.

Andy's fine (I'm assuming), it was only a flesh wound
His right arm is fine, so he won't be that bored at home :o
Been trying to get hold of him too. (misplaced his mobile no)
AK is going to pop into his workplace early next week, if no news, as is only 500 yds round the corner from our house.

I spoke to him after he had been pinned in the hospital, he was ok. Just now sent him a text for an update, I was keeping a low profile from his wife, I jest, she is a star. When it comes to PC technology he is not the greatest fan so yes it is the work PC for message board access, don’t think he has been at work. I will update here when he replies.
It was an interesting account of the incident; blames it all on Antonye's quick start and the fact that he got such a poor one (again) and the red mist came down. Ran wide onto the wet grass was doing ok until he hit a wide rut left by a car...damn cars.

Lol, yeah I knew I'd get blamed for something!
About time the blame got shared around
Antony's got a thing about causing other peoples accidents at Cadwell and pretending he wasn't even there at the time ;)

Don't you start as well!
It's ok, I won't mention the incident of you t-boning my clutch lever with your leg at the first corner

I don't know who to blame for trying to run me off the track at the first corner in the first race, but I couldn't move over as I was already on the white line, certainly was getting a bit interesting
Now we know why he's run off to America for the winter, obviously learning how to be subtle in combat.
Watch out for napalm at Cadwell in March

My list of targets gets longer with every post... :ninja:
Why not just use the entry list - it'll save you time  ;) :D
spoke to Andy today, - not been as easy as just a broken bone, - he has been in pain, off work. Can't recall exact details but sounded like he had to have a metal hook put into the bone to hold it together straight. Now he is getting better, looking at being back at work next week.

Thanks Ian - wish him well when you next speak.
Tim
Indeed, ditto from me.
Do you know if he is going/needs a lift etc for the pi88-up....sorry soiree on Saturday??
I will pass them on, - he did say that Becci had printed out this thread and sounded chuffed that people had asked after him.
He won't be there on Saturday, Becci has an annual dinner dance thing herself and I think he took the wise decision of supporting her event, can't be easy for the wives watching racing from the sidelines, - us boys with our toys take a degree of tolerance!
