My rear brake master cylinder appears to be shot, any suggestions is it worth re seal kit or has anyone swapped it for a an alternative cylinder ( maybe a Jap one )

Normaly pop up on ebay pretty cheap, worth a try that way, if yours is still attached to your footrest hanger, it might be worth getting one from a 748/916 etc that is mounted to the engine, saves a lot of hassle if you crash on the right hand side it will normaly come away unscathed compared to a footrest hanger mounted unit.

I would just look at replacing it with the same sort but off a later bike so that seals etc aren't as old or even a new one off a 1098 for £49

Simon its that thumb brake Matt now has, all that really means is he reaches down and pushes against the tyre with his thumb, apparently it offers very good feel :devil:
