Shock horror....... Or not....

This seller

http://search.ebay.co.uk/_W0QQsassZmotorpartzQQhtZ-1

The one with all the SS stuff. All stolen...

Phone the police you say?
The owner tried that, but got "'I've read about ebay in the papers but
i've never actually seen it' from the first cop he spoke to...

Try eBay...?.:sing::sing::sing::sing::sing::sing::sing : Now we all know how much use they're going to be.

Any ideas? (Preferably legal ones?)

Don't think much of his feedback anyway 87% clearly had more than a few issues.

See that he is dum enough to give us a registration number in the background - surely there is one of us who can track that to an address or at least find out if the car is also nicked. Looks like this guy should get a personal visit:mad:

What's the point of Ebay letting you make your feedback comments private :puzzled: With the bad publicity they are having lately surely this only helps the fraudsters.

Allways wary of people who sell all the bike parts , but no frame and V5's offered.

last week a guy who had his mountain bike stolen found it on e-bay bid and won and went 'round to collect taking the police with him i think - i guess the legal way is the best...but....! i have no sympathy for those who are nicking our stuff.

It's a DOC sticker (Shouldn't hold that against him...). It's because of that he recognised the rest of his parts.

oh well I tried to warn the buyers but firstly, ebay have deactivated the spare account I used to have for just such circumstances (inactivity I guess) - then, when I was working my way through emailing each of the high bidders, ebay has an imposed limit on the number of emails that can be sent each day???
Think I got most anyway. Good call guys.

Has any body tried to tell him He may be selling stolen goods?

He may be a mug and doing somebody elses dirty work?

If he is knowingly selling dodgie stuff hope I he gets caught!

What a knob.

Can one of the moderators track the registered IP address of the above nugget who posted here please and save the details?

If Fiscus fish knows the rightfull owner of the stolen stuff he can give the IP address to him and allow the cops to do there job and try and trace it to the address in Cardiff.

Better still if anyone has access to IP tracing software get the address and a few of the boys could pay him a visit!

That is is the above login and old now deactivated account on flea bay are the same person, which it sure looks like!!

Regards

ScottyB

Seems the owner of the stolen parts is also contacting buyers himself as well.

Far too coincidental for bikebitz not to b motorpartz! He stopped the bikebitz id 29/08/05 and registered as motorpartz 24/09/05, Cardiff, Vfr 400 parts, who is he kidding?

With a view to hiring out required settlement equipment per chance?

If he is a poor misguided dupe who has been fooled into selling stolen bike parts the least we can offer to do is get them back to the rightful owner.

I think visiting this individual to express our sympathies with his dreadful plight would be well worthwhile and a very christian thing to do. Something along the lines of: you hold the little sh*t while I smash his kneecaps with this 5lb lump hammer I just happen to have found in my car !!!!!:D:D:D

Naaaaa 5lb hammer is boring Paul.

Metal baseball bat is best.

If you get a good rhythm going it is like playing the kettle drum, great symphoney of sounds depending on whether you are striking bone or muscle......:D
