What ratio do you use on a carbed bike ????

100:1 seems sufficent for my 600ss-- may up the rate to 50:1 when it gets really cold

thanks for that :D sorry to sound a bit thick but how much is 100:1 or how much do you put in a full tank ?? I've never worked out how to work it out :puzzled:

how did i know you were going to ask that?

ss tank has got 17.5 litre capacity tank so thats 175ml on initial tank full
i keep a small 250ml plastic bottle with measurments on it under the seat for when i top up so if i top up with say 12 liters i pop 120ml in the tank

i;e100:1 12/100=.12or 120ml----or50:1 12/50=.24or 240ml

So glad I went the injected route, and don't have to faff around with the FST pro any more. Even combined with the carb heater kit I fitted, it never fully cured poor winter running on my M600 anyway, just made it usable.

My M900ie is ok to well below freezing, it's just me that suffers - old git. Do you know if they do FST pro in tablet form, as perhaps I should start taking it in winter, along with daily cod liver oil capsules , sanatogen multi vitamins etc... :(:lol:
