Tried the 15/38 recommended by Shazam & didn't like it, Nelly fitted at 14 front so 14/38 - now I like this a lot

Pulls cleanly in 2nd at low revs - power everywhere - top speed I reckon is now down to 130 - 140 ish (guessing) but as the fastest I've been on a track is 125-130 it's not going to be a problem!

Also fitted ferodo sintergrip race pad which are superb (with brembo master cylinder from my 748sps) and skidlids titanium 50/54mm termis sound superb but have attracted a bit of unwanted attention from the met......

I'm not suprised, with that gearing your probably doing a few thousand revs around town, no wonder they hear you coming.
db killers then... nah forget that bad idea

Henners - tell me you're kidding me, you haven't, you couldn't have - if you have do you at least still have the 996R??????????

Skildlids - fens sound way too scary for me - don't you have to sleep with your sister up there?! I like the sound of traffic & police sirens too much......I don't do peace & quiet - love the cans by the way & the ecu works well for a DP one:D

... after owning the 996R and being so worried about damaging it I couldn't enjoy riding it, and then it was going to cost too much to get it to Spain I decided to let her go to a guy who will ride her and look after her. I had 1500 blissful miles on her for the cost of a pair of tyres so can't complain.

Went to pick the Blade up from Bristol today to find that even after a full service and new MOT they hadn't noticed that the front brake was juddering so cancelled the deal on the spot. Did get a good blast on it around the Avon gorge in warm sunshine first so I know that it's a great bike and I'll carry on looking for another one.

I will have another Ducati at some stage, however, for now I'm taking a rest. Love the look of the S4RS .... ;)
