According to recent reports various track days and maybe the Thundersport meet at Mallory have been cancelled due to noisy day restrictions there.
Apparently the track can only be used on Wednesdays and Sundays.
Anybody know for sure if we will be affected?

All we know for certain is that Dave at Hottrax has been talking to the circuit manager who he is waiting to get back to him after he has discussed things with the circuit owners

The 1985 ruling was for Wednesday and Sunday and 4 saterdays as long as they where part of a two day meeting, so I guess the Friday may be lost but he saturday will stay as Hottrax are running a two day meeting, thats how I read the last Mallory statement.
Chris:burn:
Looks likely the mallory meeting will just be 1 day on the Sunday.
I've got a mate racing in thundersport just got an email saying Sunday only now.

Just emailed karen and this was her response:-
"Yes at the moment it is going ahead as planned - if any thing changes we will put it on the web site and our Facebook page as soon as we know."
So maybe its all still good?

To be fair, Hottrax use facebook for intial contact as it is instant and gets to the majority of riders straight away, the same as Trudi and Skids use this forum to pass information to the riders, so there is no need to abuse a system of communication that has afterall informed you of the situaion.

that may be a fairish point, but it's this forum that informs me of most situations first- having kind of day that encourages abuse and still think facebook's a sack o' s!!!e...

I have just found it on the Hottrax website hidden away at the top of the Mallory entry page
http://www.hottrax-motorsport.co.uk/nscalendar2013.html#p7APMc1_2
Where it says "This is a 1 day event for the following classes"
Having paid up front at the start of the season I should be due a partial refund, maybe I can use this against the Brands Test day
There is a option being explored that entails trying to move the Wednesday test day to the Friday, as its right near the end of the season the most likely users of that weeks test day is those racing with Hottrax at the weekend, so there would certainly be less traffic movement if the test day could be moved and racers allowed to camp in the paddock on Saturday

The standard procedure is that you will receive email from desmodue@ducatisportingclub.com with any updates that you need, with the info also being posted on this forum as a backup. We also post updates on facebook and twitter too.
You may also receive information direct from Hottrax via email (or facebook, twitter, etc) but where possible we will try and duplicate that out to the desmodue riders via an email as above.
Sometimes the info travels faster than we can get to the email and distribute the information, or can confirm/clarify that information, but you will get notified via email and the website.

As of yet the Race Committee has not been sent any information about Mallory by Hottrax.
Maybe because they are going to inform us in person this weekend at Brands
and also because they are busy getting ready for the Portimao trackday with one of the trucks leaving from Brands after the finish of racing on Sunday.
Although looking at the Hottrax website things have obviously changed
