In the not too distant future I will be moving to the Midlands near Redditch. Anyone got any recommendations for top servicing establishments in the area?

Cheers,

Jim

That's near JHP (Ducati Coventry) isn't it?

If it's in warranty then Italia Moto at Lincoln .... out of warranty Cornerspeed.

Both worth the ride, arrange it for a mid week day in the summer and take the day out. Enjoy the ride and the chance to watch an expert work on your bike.

Sorry, didn't think Redditch was up near Cornerspeed, otherwise I'd have suggested that too.

Try Ducati Wolverhampton - excellent service at reasonable costs why not give them a call on 01384 400234 or check out the website www.ducatiwolverhampton.com.
I have used them for 12 months or so withour any issues and for you (Redditch) they are about 30 min away.I think they also offer a collection service.

Mike Robsom - Robsom Racing - link in my sig below.
And I can thoroughly recommend Chris at Genesis Motorcycles in Bromsgrove. He generally looks after my bikes for stuff not done here.

Oh and get yourself over to rideouts and make yourself known on the Midlands thread.

Oh and Redditch is just up the road from me - You are not alone :)

It is looking like my options are Ducati Wolverhampton or Coventry at the moment and Mike Robsom. What are all these guys like for prices?

I have got rid of my 748 now so only have my lovely 97 SS to look after along with the RSVR.

Mike is very reasonable as is Chris. Can't comment on dealerships as I never use them unless it's to buy parts.

Personally JHP/Ducati Coventry, if you want out of warranty work and want to pay less then Nelly

Unfortunately Nelly is about 90 miles away. Not easy getting back if the bike had to stay for more than a day!

He's 5 mins walk from Sutton Parkway railway station and he collects & delivers too!

TP

Nelly collects. He's 156 miles from me in West London and I think he's worth it.

You'd be hard pushed for a dealer to be finished with it in a day if I am honest. I travel around 100 miles to drop mine off with John, even though I could go 5 miles to my local Ducati dealer :rolleye:

JPM, John Hackett is about 30 miles away so is much more convenient and currently is top choice.

I am happy to do a reasonable distance so long as there is some means to get home. I have used Moto Rapido, Snells and Two Four Italia down here and the trouble I have had getting home when a lift wasn't available has been monumental. Public transport just isn't up to the task!

Nelly and JHP.John Hackett is always helpful for any advice, has all the latest test/set up equipment. He also lent me £1200+ worth of exhaust based on trust, wich is worth alot. You can't go wrong with either of them.

Nelly, every time. Like TP, I'm 150 miles away and I know where both my bikes will be going this winter. :)
