Not bike related but if anyone is looking for car insurance i'd recommend ELEPHANT (http://www.elephant.co.uk/)

I have no NCB and haven't owned a car for over a year and they came up over £200 cheaper than anyone else at £207.97 fully comp on a 10 month bonus accelerator policy

bit of a bargain

Nigel, you shouldnt have to start again, your NCD from your old policy is valid for 2 years after the policy expires or is cancelled .......

Ask for Business Class 1 use and the premium goes down usually and add a second person (clean license etc.) to bring it down further.

Cheers,

Phil

Sorry, should have mentioned the business use thing is peculiar to Elephant in my experience but the second tip holds for most insurers.
