Why not.
Your local plod must be hard of hearing:lol:
If you are using them on the road I suggest a nice 50mm Arrow titanium set with the lovely removeable baffles and E marks.
They even come with a certificate of conformity which really pleases the :pig::lol:

BIKE:D not reason
You wont need any more than 50mm for the road, are you planning on racing...:puzzled:
57mm will make your ears bleed.....
57mm is for the lovely £2500 termi 749/999 system if im not mistaken
you can get 54mm termi's or 60mm race setups i beleive. im running 45 downpipes to 50mm link pipe and cans and its too loud for mot and plod if they can catch me !!!
50mm arrows or akrapovics with the removable baffles would be my choice for the road if i could afford them

Chris, deej. you have convinced me. Ive got 50mm at minute. Just fancied BIGGER PIPES. And the thing about the bike being over exhausted, I take your point.
Please forgive my child like behaviour.
I just get carried away.

For the record i thoroughly approve wholeheartedly with anyone with the cash and the ability to stick a set of fullbore pipes on. You'd be looking at further engine work too though i'd imagine to stop it running like **** although a good powercommander might work with some airbox work.
Did the same with my old zx7r and BOY did it sound mean although not ear-splittingly loud even with the thin-walled race headers. Took about a day fiddling to set up on dyno though.
Anyone remember the gorgeous 916/996 SPS in orange/blue from (i think) Dr Desmo ? It was in a bike mag years ago and stuck in my mind ever since. :) and it has the full bad-boy 57mm's too.....
Grrrrrr !!!!!!

Dallas picked up a 57mm exhaust off Ebay a few weeks ago for £1200 it is now fitted to his 996SPS race bike, and boy does it look good, I wonder if the power commander is going to need tweaking as it was all set up for a 54mm system
