What time you knocking off - early, or on the late shift?
Doing much except sitting around and eating mince pies?

We have an official half day today, so beers for lunch. Not much work on, just making sure things are ready for the chaos of combined end of month, end of quarter and end of year reporting next week!

We've just had a company email to say that Santa has left us all a little pressie in our mail pigeon holes! Wooo!

Well .. technically I'm putting together a presentation ... and chatting on msn ... but not in the office, I'm sitting in front of my lovely new home theatre setup listening to music :D

I might make myself a nice lunch and have a glass of wine with it :D

Just got in, finishing (i hope) at about 4pm today, not back until the 3rd.

Got a shed load of work to get done today, or I'm in during the festive period :(

Oh, and I'm on call until the 3rd Jan, so means until 8pm everyday, I can't drink! Although I'm collecting 2 days pay on top for being on call :D

Civil Servants lot is never a happy one :(

Am I missing somthing...its Friday, why shouldn't we be at work!:bouncy:

Finishing at 5 today, and in between Xmas and New Year.

Being self-employed and working from home full time has real benifits and real drawbacks at times:flame:

I got loads to do here so I'm flat out like a normal day.
The procurement section are playing damn crimbo songs... about to go tell them to shut it!

Oh well, I'm off in ten mins and not back 'til 10th Jan :) :)
It might be a normal day, but it's still POETS day!

I'm in work, and currently looks like I won't be finished until around 8pm as most of the support guys who know what their doing are off, so I'm left with a bunch of muppets who don't even know how to load a tape, which might not be a problem apart from I'm on call over Christmas so it will come back and haunt me :(

We're having a mad crazy day and planning additional coverage for the Xmas and Boxing day because we've been warned that potentially lots of couriers will be required (and not by Santa either)

We'll get away about 7pm tonight depending on when the phones stop ringing and if there's no big problems.

Yep, I'm working too, deep in the code setting up a message-queue between 2 winCE processes to pipe udp-packets directly into an embedded comms engine, and writing the gui tool to go with it.
Anyone who understood that is welcome to offer advice over the xmas period, cos its all got to work by 9th jan.
Anyone who didnt understand is still welcome to offer advice of course

Working from home :D today .... and all the way through the holiday.

Reality is no one will phone or e-mail me which = no work for me. Means I can take the 3 or 4 days leave in summer (rather than now) when I can take the bike out in the sunshine.
