does anyone find that when u ride a 749, your behind gets very warm? what do people do about that? and what do they do about it in the summer when its very hot outside?

If you have the standard pipes it is probably the cat as they run a high temp. Fitting a race pipe should help. I'm waiting for my term's to arrive and currently have the same issue

Only really notice it in slow/stopped traffic...

aha i see. yeah i was wearing ducati dainese speed pants and was getting kinda sweaty. yeah termis are a must either way! such a huge difference with them! (in noise)

In this temperature the in built heating is a welcome addition in the frozen north!!

Get the odd blast of hot air when sat at traffic lights or similar on a summers day. Soon as I'm moving it's all back to normal.

I do have a race can fitted and I'm sure it helps reduce the heat build up.

I've got a 57 system on the 999 and it heats up just as bad as the stock system did if you get stuck in traffic :( I usually resort to standing on one peg with me ar?e in the air at traffic lights in summer, it looks a bit weird but works.

Avoid towns and traffic is the best solution :D

haha, nice, i guess that is a good idea to stand up... a bit difficult to avoid london though and traffic in it... oh well
