View Full Version : Travel Tips Please - Amsterdam
I'm heading off to Amsterdam in a few weeks with a mate for the weekend and I've just been checking out flights.
I can get a returnn ticket that suits my times etc with EasyJet for £80 (incl taxes etc). Is that a pretty good deal? Any other options I can look at?
I want to leave on Friday the 20th and return Monday the 23rd.

My son flies with thomson fly from Coventry for about £40 when he goes to visit his gf. He usually books ahead by a few weeks so £80 sounds about right for short notice really.

Friday out and Sunday/Monday returns are also the busiest, so that's not a bad price at all.
Got it down to £69 each.
I'll take it :)

Just have a good safety check over your higher bikes. I take it you will be riding round to fit plenty in.
£69 for the fight A
That's a good number that in-it. You'll be seeing that number a lot this year :ninja:
I read elsewhere your off to practice riding in the sun very nice.

... and are often not girls either.
If you can avoid the inebriated gangs of British stags then Amsterdam is a very cool place to be. Cafe Baba on Warmoesstraat is my favourite. Just try not to get run over by a swarm of bicycles.

Hey, what happens in Amsterdam stays in Amsterdam :D
It's quite a good game doing a tour of the (ever decreasing) red light district playing 'Spot the Bloke'. Oh, and don't take photographs... unless you want to get beaten up by transvestite prostitutes - and not in a good way.
