View Full Version : Andy Johnson - Bike #36
Most of you who raced in the 05 DD series will have seen - or met Andy, who rode Snotty and then Tango during most of the season. He doesent ever really post, tho he does read this section a lot of the time thus keeping up to date with all the banter etc.
Andy has been extremely seriously ill in hospital over the xmas period due to a respiratory virus. Meningitis has been ruled out, thank goodness - and he has now just turned the corner slightly.
I didnt want to post on the forum till we knew he was on the recovery list & out of intensive care - but now I'd like to send him all our best wishes for a speedy recovery. Love to Kaz too, who has been spending every last minute at Andys bedside.
Andy, hoping things will get better soon for you mate :)
Charlotte & Alan

My goodness! Pass on best wishes for a fast recovery... fast, being a concept to which he's quite familiar!

ah - that was Dougs bit Couchie, in Pronto.
Doug used the snot with its #36 on for the Dave Harris memorial trackday, and also at Cadwell last DD meeting, when Andy was on hols.
Sorry for any confusion:ninja:

update:
Andy thanks everyone for their wishes:cool:
he has now been booted out of hospital (bloody malingerer eh? ) on anti biotics (that'll bu**er the new year celebrations then!) and is strongly instructed to keep 'quiet' - tho we reckon that will last all of 30 seconds.
Seriously tho, he does sound very breathless when we phoned :( and Kaz will do her best to stop him working even at home.
Andy, when you get round to reading this...... you ONLY have 3 months to get fit mate:P and the trackday is in 7 weeks, so do as the quacks tell you:ninja:
