Anyone got, or know of a Jerez track bike-video?
I'd like to get a lap video of the circuit before I get there in a few weeks.
Otherwise I might have to go and get MotoGP4 for the kid's Playstation!!

its truly awesome, you will love it!!
The left handers are the best bit of it.
Andyb's mate had a video and Jon had some laps following me on it, but not certain if he can download it or not.

Jon asked for the same thing over on Throttlemonkey http://www.throttlemonkey.co.uk/forums/index.php?showtopic=1927&hl=jerez&st=20 and a fella named Linus posted a "clip". It's post number 37 but it's also 488mb so might take a while to download...

Fast indeed!!
On my trip out on the R1 it was showing just over 160 down the back straight... just before panic kicked in and i hit the brakes!!
I wasn't quite so quick on Bob and I am not sure the monnie will hit that, but its a great flowing circuit so will be perfect for you!!

Tim, the map is slightly wrong, that's the car circuit, there's no chicane at the Aryton Senna corner, it's just a "fast" right hander...
If you get the 2005 motogp review dvd there's a lap on there by the GP boys, good for breaking markers etc...
Also the kerbs are painted tarmac and flat (and grippy) so you can use them without any worries, the last r/hander (Ferrari) is stupidly quick, but the big balls corner is Sito Pons, off camber over a crest blind exit...

Looks like I should be able to take the whole circuit flat out on the Monnie then!!! ;)
....Probably, and that's no joke

I've tried flat out on the 125GP bike on MotoGP4 and its nearly possible - apart from a few bends!!
Tim
flat out at dry sac could be funny.............or is that flat out with a dry sac....now that was a good new year!
Dry Sac is tighter than the circuit map from memory, or it certainly felt like it

No we made a corporate decision not to go :( gutted as we were well up for it, but kitchens and general DIY is currently top of the list so you'll be buzzing around one of the best circuits there is while I'll be fitting a kitchen.... I hope you remember that when you're laughing while tipping into ferrari :)
Here is a photo of Fast Andyb on one of our night's out in Jerez town. Now you decide f anny magnet or not???
Looks like he's lost a few pounds in that photo...
Although Lily seems to think he's a sex god there :puzzled:
have fun andy, sounds like a good trip to me
just out of curiosity for next year for myself how much are you expecting to pay out including the costs of getting yourself and the bike there ??
cheers
