can you change the frount fork springs. as i think the ones on the 600ss are progresive any ideas on what i should replace them with if its allowed to

Yes you can, are they too soft or is it the damping ?

dont know i just know there going to get a hammering and i want something that will improve the handleing

good idea run the bike in a few races then ill come back to you lot about things

Might be worth asking some suspension people - I'm sure they'll be able to give you an idea just over the phone.

If you're not sure what it's like now, then I would really recommend you at least get the forks and shock serviced before racing as they could all be knackered and that means dangerous.

well its going in for a full service at ducati leeds will they check the suspension or should i ask them to do it as well

Look up, K Tech.

They will do the front and rear bouncy bits, just of the M1 north of Nottingham I think from memory.

They did ours last year, refresh, oil seals and springs front and rear, about £200, talk them through what you want and your bike, weight, use etc...

VERY good service, hughly recommended.

Well if you specifically tell them you are racing the bike and that you want the suspension overhauling then I'm sure they will do it...at a price. They seem to be decent peeps with a good rep.

K-tech are good but the forks really are simple and it's only a few minute job to change seals and oil saving you lots of £££
