It was the 2001 one off paint job for Imola. A kinda copy of the Paul Smart bikes. TB had already won the title, but then crashed it in the race!!!
They've not used silver since!!

Do a search on autotrader for ducati 996 and there's one for sale in silver - maybe the dealer will send you a few pics if you ask nicely?

I wanted a close up to see how much fleck is in the baylis bike.
but on a side is there a paint code for the final addition SS bikes which do use the plain silver ?

There's loads of fleck - its way over the top. It would look better in flat silver I reckon - but if its an Imola rep you're after go for the metaflake.

Yeh - they keep the cheap stuff at the front in case there's a break in!!! ;)
In theory there will be what hodgson 03, toseland 04, lavilla 05.............bah its crap.....itll never be competative.even on a level 1000cc playing field!
