Interested to hear your continued comments on feel / fade / quality deej.

Like others on the board I was concerned about lack of apparent info from the seller / manufacturer - I've been holding out hoping to find some nice Braking / Galfer wavies but the prices seem to end up not far from new on FleaBay.

Look good though - £140 from memory ???

I was interested in buying some of them but, was put off by some of his feedback. Good to hear you are satisfied. I wanted them for racing my 800ss so, I'll hang fire for your feedback! ;)

Besides - I've managed to pick up some fully floating cast iron brembos for that authentic rattle :D

£140 is correct, i thought sod it yu only live once. he answered the questions better than what my local dealer could do so i went with them. as long as they last its 140 quid well spent, if they dont its tough ...

will hopefully give you a update on sunday

Just put a set of these on my bike.

They seem really good to me.;) They are indeed fully floating and Deej is right. The bite these things have is really good. Much better than my old semi floating Brembo discs.

Hello mate,

Yep I was in your neck of the woods but only got my bike back in one piece on the last day. So only a few test rides in my workshop overalls and an old 15 year pee pot for a lid.:D How tasteful!!!;)

Bikes still down in cornwall at my fathers workshop as I havent finished with it yet. Still got some more mods to work on but I am back in London now.

Ttrerulefoot Road, what bliss. Thats a good old run from Torpoint. I remember it well. I always try to test it out when I down in the summer.

Roll on the summer...................Laterz.

I have been slightly tempted by these too.

Anyway probably an idiot question, but whats the differnece between semi floating and fully floating, i assumed the originals were fully floating so these ones may not fit, but i guess i am wrong now :puzzled:

Can someone enlighten me to the difference?

I needed to ask too...

Frank the full floaters have rotors that are mounted to the carrier allowing a bit of free play, the semi floating discs have rotors mounted to the carrier with the edition of a stiffly sprung washer that takes out the free movement but still allows it to move when enough force is applied.
ON the OEM Ducati discs the Fully floates have Iron rotors as opposed to the stainless mix of the mon floaters hence them going rusty at this time of year.
My Braking Waveys are excellent discs, I have used them on both road and track and am very happy with them

Mine finally arrived today - impressive quality but I'm a bit surprised by just how much movement there is of the disc on the spider. Also - the gap between the two isnt equidistant all the way around.

Still, I'm looking forward to fitting them - eventually !!!

Sideways movement is good, rotational movement is bad and is also an MOT fail i think.
