I will be playing in ALL groups-so you lot had better behave.
Oh and whilst I am on-all DD bikes will be in the fast group.
Racers are racers and play with the fast boys.

I must've missed something while I was in Bangalore - I haven't seen the booking forms yet, but I'll book as soon as I do.

I'm itching to do my first 4 valve trackday on the 888, so I'll have a dabble in the fast group with ya.

Should have the brakes, the suspension set up and the diablo's on it by then...all I'll need then is the talent to keep up with the seasoned racers :puzzled:

I'll be in as many groups getting as much track time as I can. Unless I develope some serious speed pretty quick I'm gonna be eating humble pie come the day of my first race in March. Got my arse totally kicked by all the racers at silverstone last week in the ACU group and discovered I'm not as fast as I liked to think.

Welcome to reality - it's a hard world out there when amongst racers. Racers are a good deal faster than most trackdayers of any speed.

Hmmmm....Note to self. Better pull my finger out and get Cadwell booked for a place in the fast group. It's right around my birthday too, so shouldn't have any problems getting a weekend pass.

One thing to think of though guys is that it's not all about the fast group.

I think that one of the best things about DSC trackdays is that it's not all about racers and trackday gods whooping it up in the fast group. It's also a chance for the inters and novices to sharpen up their track skills and develop as riders. In fact one of the best sessions last year (so I'm told 'cos I couldn't go) was the session for complete track virgins who were given the chance to follow the instructor round for a few laps.

That's what it's all about to me. Get people on track, then into the novices, then into the inters, into fast, into DD and then into MotoGP (well, perhaps not quite but you know what I mean).

The DSC days have always been about respect and clean overtakes as well so that nobody feels threatened. I know we're all excited about a good thrash around up with the fast boys, but I'd hate to think we were putting people off moving up from inters because they think they're going to be mixing it with a bunch of axe murderers

Strange how it used to be a struggle to get riders into the faster groups, now there's an attempt to resist it!!!! ;)

Trust me Jools, i may have been one of the axemen a few years back, these days i'm like a little pussycat..

By that stage, my bike should be pristine, i won't want anyone overtaking close to me :)

You'd best get that 996 sorted if you wanna keep up. There are plenty of people on this board who have been on the receiving end of your comments and revenge is a dish................... ;)

LOL Tim, if anyone can't take my 'words' as they are intended that's really their loss not mine.

I'm happy to be a target for anyone mate.... be it in a nasty way or a friendly way :)

I'll still be a cheeky Scouser with attitude either way :)

Be gentle with me on the first two laps mate..

then bring the fire :):frog:
