Are they Marzocchi? Showa? Because if I buy them I can fit them on my road bike (600 Monster) and use its forks for the DD bike.

Hmm, I've never seen ones like that before, but I expect an expert will be along in a minute.....

No more than 100 quid given that they may not fit. Also you need to bear in mind he admits to them being in his loft for years. the technology may be a bit outdated now. Personally I would go for the latest spec forks you can.

Cheers Yeti... I'll have to take a decision quickly now :)

Hi Tonio

Irrelevant aren't they?...they're adjustable...and we can't use adjustable forks, can we?

The chrome is a little bit "dented" (???). Or maybe "scratched". I don't know how to say it but I'm sure you will understand. I could race with them anyway but I don't want to have to change my seals every meetings...

Tonios forks for the race bike are quite pitted.

He is just looking for some that would fit either bike (road bike too) so that one std pair could be utilised (and the internals reworked) for the race bike.
Doesnt matter what he sticks on his road bike (nice as it is tho!)

i cant find my chuffing rules but yes i think they have to be original. ie non adjustable. otherwise it would be ohlins everywhere!

he knows they do have to be original externally.
Internals can be reworked, as most of us have done.

but he doesnt really want to strip his beloved road bike std ones to go into the race bike.

So - anyone know of a pair to fit a monster for our french chum?
