It might be possible to get extra non point scoring races on the saturday of each race weekend. This must be better than going in SOT for extra practice. We would have to fill at least 1 grid.
Put your names up if you are interested .

Nice one champ, but don't think I could fund an extra entry fee.

in all honesty probably not. although i need the practice, turning it into a 2 day meeting for me with all the associated costs is no very appealing. at 'local' ones say brands and snet i may consider it.

Geoff - hadnt thought of that extra cost - usually £25ish if another class on the same day, but will be full entry if on a seperate day wont it?

If I have the funds I would consider it at some venues, was already thinking of entering the 996 at Castle Combe in the SoT on the day that we are not doing DD

Same as t'others, up for it for certain rounds especially if it's a good deal cheaper than £95.

Cheers,

same here. If not too expensive, I'd be happy with extra race time with the DSC mates...

Yeh I reckon so, we were gonna do a trackday at most circuits but this instead will be cheaper and only one lot of travelling :)

dickieducati

only 10/15 mins on track though as opposed to 2 hours on a trackday.

Some of our races are on the Saturday...Oulton and Castle Coombe....

Anyone noticed that 5 of the Rounds are superclub rounds..last year we got no free practise and failed to get into SOT cos of priority given to sot riders ( which i agree with ).....

is it the same deal this year...ie no free practise or is it based on the number of total entrants dictacting time frames.?

This might change your pre-race warm up plans..if no SOT or free practise....

they said in the newsletter pre christmas that they were hoping to do more 'proper meetings' with full practice etc so i assume thats what they will try to do.
