So, where does everyone have their tax disc holder? In London I must have it visible when I park musnt I? What should I do about putting a parking permit on it too? Any tips?

I don't use one. I use the Oxford protective film. The sort that they use for tank protectors. I cut a piece off and stick my tax disc on with it. It is the only waterproof tax disc older I have ever had.
Stick it on the bike and take a picture of it on your mobile phone so if some Tw*t nicks it you can still show that it was there.

On the bolts that mount the pillion footpegs.

Ive also got an ABUS disck lock mounted on their carrier just above it, dosent look fantastic but it works well.

There's been a few discussions on this in the past - one example being :

Do a search on 'tax disc holder' to see others.

My solution .... can be viewed, yet you would have to start taking panels off to pinch it. Not a massive deterent, but, makes it a little more difficult to pinch.

Mounts on a spare brass insert on the battery carrier.

just had a look for mine! it used to be in the pillion footrest bolt, but it has gone, vibration loss by the look of it, you can see where the bracket has snapped. I think the replacement will go on the screen.

I think the law says on the left hand side so it can be seen from the pavement easily. And on the forks.by the brakes.

I find that the best place to put the bike tax disc is in the windscreen of a car,it will never be nicked and there are other benefits too.

Have you also noticed that they dont do them in yellow but have done them in red several times. The red ones are faster? ;)

If I remember where I've put it, I'll let you know. Several searches around the house have turned up nothing!
