I’m off to Rugby to do the ACU test on the 13th and I was just wondering what sort of things I will need to learn and what the itinerary for the day is?

Don't stress Murray.

They run through flags, what they look for in tech inspections, the whole racetrack thing like who the clerk of the course is etc. After all of this there is a multi-guess exam with around 20 questions.

Put it this way, Domski passed! No worries there then ... ;)

No I didn't.

Racers didn't have to go to school when I started (July 1997), and I think trackdays were only just starting and very rare and expensive.

The first time I ever went on a race track was for a race!

You newbies have it easy - and it's why you're all so bloody fast!!

Now if this racing lark is as easy as the test it should just be a case of turning up and wining :smug:

Murray, having checked out your photo in the last issue of Pronto i decided you weren,t there

So its sounds like i spent 3 hours sat across the isle from you and Dave i assume:lol:

I to was at the front second in from the wall trying to stay awake after a weekend of flat out bike building.

Big apologys for not realising who you two were.
