Hi guys & girls
Just got me little old 600ss up to Pro-team at Wimbledon to start the "straightening process" and re-convert the 674 to 583cc. The barrels and pistons previously removed and now due for re-fitting are, I'm told..."scrap" as they are quite badly scored.
Not being in a position to simply shell-out for brand-new kit I was just "posting" for advice....or, alternatively, someone out there may have a spare old set at a reasonable price?
Hope all's well out there in "DD prep-land"

BTW Andy, might well be tempted to sell my old ones if I can find them and if Mitch didn't butcher them when he took them off ...
Have you got my mobile number? If not drop me a u2u.
i thought we were going to keep the 750 conversion quite? didn't make any difference to your results anyway....
Can't remember what the wear was like on your stock barrels, be worth a look though.

Right guys...another week-or-so and I'm no further on! I have collected the 583 barrels and pistons and one of them, the front one I believe, is, indeed quite badly scored. I have heard that some people say you can re-bore and/or re-nikkasil plate them, but that's as far as I've got. In any case, I would need to order a new piston which the newly re-plated barrel would then be re-matched to.
C'mon guys, throw me a lifeline!

Have you called Rich @ Louigi Moto? I'm not sure what he has, but he's helpful.
