i have acquired a bip seat for my 748 and it is complete with lights and fixings etc BUT the connector for the lights at the seat end is scotchblocked and there is no connector - does anyone have a spare connector or even better a cable with connector attached? also i need the little bracket that fastens to the front of the seat into which the pivot goes so i can attach it to the bike??
thanks in advance

You can buy them from RS or Farnell, so you can match it exactly to the oem plug or socket.

brillianto - any idea of the part / code antonye? otherwise will either have to remove one from my existing seat or take the whole seat unit !

Just having a look now. The plugs/sockets they use are quite common (typical Ducati!) so you can buy the exact part with the matching colour shroud too. Hold tight and I'll find it...

They're called "IP 67 AMP Superseal"
On http://rswww.com/ goto Electronic Components, Power & Connectors > Connectors > Electrical / Power > Vehicle - Automotice Power

No worries.
By the way, I've got some more frame plugs "in stock" - didn't you need a spare or two? Send me a u2u with what you need and your address and I'll sort you out.
