:puzzled:I've got sky+ and an Xbox for DVD's i don't really need a new machine.Is there anywhere that does it as a service?My mum was quoted £35:o to do it,i thought it was a bit over the top
I've got a DVD recorder... never tried to recorder from a VHS though

It works ok - prices have come down a lot though and a combo DVD recorder and Video can now be had for very reasonable prices.
Otherwise you are stuck with 'phone a friend' or going to a shop...
Jessops camera sellers used to offer this service I remember.
